Well, at least for my ham radio stuff. I created this place just to have a place I can check on propagation and stuff, without having to access a few different sights. I may add things here as I go on, but right now its being used for my convenience for ham radio, and a place I can test changes to site modules without causing issues elsewhere.
SWMBO gave her blessing for me to spend a bunch of money on something I've been thinking of doing for a long time. I already own an Elecraft KX3, but I really wanted to be able to put together a K2 from the kit. So, I have K2 S/N 7788, and here is a pictorial journal of the build. While its not a daily set of pics, its a visual diary of a build of what I believe is one of the last (if not the very last), true kit in the same mold as the Heathkits of the 60s and 70s. Just click on the link to get to the picture galleries to get started.
NOTE: I must warn you, the pictures have not been compressed other than to reduce them to a smaller browser frame. So it will take anywhere from 20 to 30 seconds or so to load each gallery. Unfortunately, its the way the component was designed. Just be patient.
